Flight Path of the Spitfire

18th July ~ 30th September 2015

The Flight Path of the Spitfire art trail was officially launched on July 18th 2015, following 42F King’s Lynn Squadrons Freedom of the Borough Parade.  There was plenty going on that day, including a fly past by a real spitfire and a dakota!

The art trail has been organised by the squadron to celebrate both their Freedom of the Borough and the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.  We are very proud to be sponsoring one of the 24 decorated spitfires now located around the town!

We have maps of the trail available too, so why not take a wander round King’s Lynn spotting the spitfires?!

For more information please see Flight Path of the Spitfire on Facebook.  They are also on Twitter @spitfireflight1 or search twitter for #spitfireKL !

The squadron had the spitfires fabricated, then each sponsor could choose to decorate their own; ours was beautifully decorated by J Billman Graphic Arts.
