The Townscape Heritage Initiative is a BCKLWN Heritage Lottery funded project, with the aim of enhancing and regenerating the historic shopping streets of King’s Lynn.
First year students from the Graphic Design and Photography departments of The College of West Anglia responded to this with a photographic survey of these streets. They aimed to capture the diverse character of the historic buildings by use of collage, but also wanted to show unity by photographing entire streets. By taking photographs on a typical market day, they were also pleased to capture a slice of vibrant town life.
